Welcome to Two Peas and Their Pod.

I’m Maria and my husband is Josh. We share a love of cooking, baking, and entertaining. We enjoy creating recipes that are simple, fresh, and family friendly. Join us in our culinary adventures-our kitchen is always open!

A little about us…we were best friends before we got married in June of 2008. We’ve always enjoyed cooking and eating together. Josh had a personal blog, but after we got married, I started posting recipes on his blog. Our family and friends loved our recipes, so I kept posting about our culinary adventures. Soon strangers were visiting the blog, so we transitioned it into a full time food blog.

We spend a lot of time in the kitchen together. In 2010, we decided it was time to remodel our kitchen. It was a lot of work, but we are thrilled with our new kitchen. You can view our dream kitchen here.

When we are not in the kitchen, we enjoy watching sports, hiking, running, traveling, reading, and watching movies. We live in Salt Lake City, Utah.

In September 2011, we had our first child, a precious baby boy, Caleb. We are loving every minute with our sweet little pea. We can’t wait until he can help us out in the kitchen. I know he will be a great taste tester:)
