I made these the other night–they taste just like the almonds that they sell at fairs, sporting events, etc., and then package in those pink and purple paper cones. These are phenomenal! I got a stomach ache from eating so many straight out of the oven–so worth it though! Thanks, Maria–you’re a culinary genuis! Keep it up!!!

munching on these right now as i type! these are so delicious, hubby and i got some bad news recently so i made these tonight to cheer him up as they are one of his all time favorite snacks and insists on buying some whenever we go to the mall, he’s a much happier hubby now! thank you!

Thank you for posting this recipe! My grandma used to make these and when she passed away 13 years ago I was given her recipe box. Imagine my dismay when I discovered her “recipe” was not in the box. In fact it was no to be found any where in the house. Upon making them I discovered these taste EXACTLY like hers!! Thank you so very much for helping to revive one of our family traditions!!
