It really depends on the person. My co-workers get handmade pottery, but for my family it depends on what they want each year!

I love to give gifts that someone would never buy for themselves. For example, my sister-in-law is expecting their first baby a few days before Christmas, and I’m getting her baby stuff but also a spa gift certificate so she can enjoy some alone time when the new year starts :)

Not one type of thing necessarily, but every year there’s something I’m really excited about. This year, it’s a quilt pattern and a “kit” I made for my mom, who is interested in earning how to piece a quilt. I picked out the fabrics and did all the preliminary cutting for her. It’s going to be a big surprise and I can’t wait!
