Two Peas and Their Pod

Idaho Sunset

Last week my Grandpa Dixon passed away. He was 95 and lived a good life. We went to Idaho over the weekend to celebrate his life and spend time with my family. Saturday night, after the funeral, we walked around the farm and listened to stories about my grandpa. We were blessed with this beautiful sunset.

We will miss you Grandpa.

He was a great man. Just like all of Maria’s family. We actually had a great time remembering Grandpa Dixon. He was a loving man of Faith, integrity , and sense of humor. I wish everyone could have heard the words spoken of him this past weekend, truly inspiring. Maria has great aunt’s and uncles’ and cousins’. We really had such a great time remembering Grandpa on the farm.

My grandmother passed at 95 almost 2 years ago. Fortunately I’d been in the habit of sitting with her after church every Sunday, and despite years of distance, I’d been able to learn all sorts of things about her life and my family. Beautiful picture.
