Peanut Butter, Banana, and Honey Granola-this easy homemade granola is great for breakfast or snacking!

Peanut Butter, Banana, and Honey Granola Recipe

Peanut butter, banana, and honey…it is a classic combo. It all started with a sandwich, a sandwich I have been in love with since I was a kiddo. I have taken that classic combo and created muffins, cookies, and now granola.

This Peanut Butter, Banana, and Honey Granola is a new favorite!

Peanut Butter, Banana, and Honey Granola Recipe

I love making a big pan of this granola because it is great to have in the house. It is good for breakfast or snacking. The only problem…it doesn’t last long.

Peanut Butter, Banana, and Honey Granola Recipe

I like to eat the granola right off of the pan as soon as it comes out of the oven…handful after handful! The peanut butter banana oat clusters, salty peanuts, and touch of sweetness from the honey are TOO good!

My boys like to eat the granola with yogurt and banana slices. I am glad they are enjoying my favorite flavor combo. I guess good taste runs in the family:)

Make a pan of this easy Peanut Butter, Banana, and Honey Granola this weekend. And just a little heads up, you might want to double the recipe because this granola tends to disappear quickly!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with a Silpat baking mat or parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine oats, peanuts, salt, and cinnamon. Stir to combine.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the coconut oil over medium heat. Add the peanut butter and honey and stir until melted and combined. Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla and mashed banana. Whisk until smooth. You will have a few little chunks from the banana. Pour liquid mixture over oat mixture and stir until oats are coated. Spread evenly on prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake granola for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven and cool granola completely on baking sheet. The granola will crisp up as it cools. Store in an airtight container or glass jar with a lid for up to two weeks.

  1. Peanut butter, banana, and honey in granola form? Words can’t describe my joy! Can’t wait to bake up a batch.

  2. PB honey banana sandwiches were a fave for me too as a kid 🙂 Love this granola! I’d have trouble not eating the whole pan straight out of the oven.

  3. Made this this week. It is delicious. I didn’t do a very good job as stirring frequently so it wasn’t evenly browned 🙁 I did get some lovely clumps which was a nice surprise (I’ve yet to master the art of making clumply granola). Do the clumps get broken up by stirring too much while in the oven?

  4. Made it and I would give it Three out of five stars. There is just other granola me and my family like more. This wasn’t bad, just nothing I would make again. Some of my favorite recipes have come from this site, but this one wasn’t for us.

  5. Great granola! Made it twice already and it was gone way too fast.
Have you ever tried to make granola bars with this recipe? Any hints on how to do that?

  6. Wow just look at these pictures make me hungry. I’m gonna try your recipe this afternoon. Thank you for sharing with me!

  7. This combo is unique and I would really want to try my hands on it. This post is awesome, and the way how you explained it is simple and helpful.

I just made this and it is great! Just added a bit more peanut butter and honey. My husband said my last granola was “dry” so I looked for something that I thought wouldn’t seem “dry” to him. We like our granola in chunks so I just baked this in a sheet, not spread out and turned the pan around mid-way through the baking time. I think he’ll like it❤️

This granola is seriously AMAZING. I’m not a person that typically will snack on granola but I’ve been eating this right out of the jar. I was worried that it would taste too “banana-y,” but it really doesn’t. Wonderful recipe!!

Easy peasy and so delicious! Hubby’s new favorite granola! Thank you for a healthy recipe that saves you a ton of money compared to store bought.

Best granola ever!!! I look forward to eating it every morning with vanilla yogurt. Who knew yogurt could taste so good.
