This sounds so good! Somehow, I missed this in Gourmet. I love that the recipe uses buttermilk, which makes a really moist cake.

I just made this tonight and it smells wonderful. Unfortunately I might have overcooked it a teeny tiny bit. For some reason I thought it said 10 inch pan. Yay, DUH! (I'm back)I just flipped it out of the pan, it's perfect! Thanks for giving me the push I needed to bake this!
