Two Peas and Their Pod

Presto Pasta

Presto Pasta

Josh and I both work so some nights we don’t feel like making anything fancy…ok, a lot of the nights we don’t. So thank goodness for cereal and pasta, two staples in our house. The other night we went with pasta.

Have any of you tried some of the flavored pastas out there? I boiled up some basil linguni and was pretty impressed. The basil flavor was nice, not too overpowering, and it tasted great with my fresh veggie sauce. I topped it off with fresh basil and parmesan. This was a great meal in minutes.

I also made a quick salad, the more veggies the better:) So if you are tired from work, school, kids, life, etc. make pasta for dinner. We are always pleased and full when we do:)

Yum! I am with you — pasta makes the best weeknight meal! I will often throw a bunch of veggies, meat, cheese, etc with pasta — the hubs calls it "pasta & stuff" — the only problem is when I hit on a particularly yummy combo and can't quite remember what I did and duplicate it again! Oh well, you dinner looks gorgeous, as always!

That pasta looks awesome and so does the salad. Is that artichokes in the salad? I could eat them all by themselves.

Brilliant! I love pasta. Wheat pasta is my favorite. I need to stock up on recipes other than spegetti or meatballs…any tips?

Even if not tired I would make this! Pasta is always a staple here too. I would love to try basil flavored one! I only had carrot and tomato I think. Great meal.
