Snickerdoodle Muffins

Snickerdoodle muffins are my latest obsession. A cookie in muffin form that can count as breakfast? Yes, please! I made a batch and was planning on taking the muffins to our neighbors, but they never made it out the door. Oops! The cinnamon sugar muffins melt in your mouth.   5. Yum Yum! Made these last night with modifications (thanks to the lack of sour cream I thought we had) but used greek yogurt, just a 6oz one, with buttermilk and it turned out great. Also, these are super sweet in mini-muffin size (again, lack of large liners ) so the 1 cup butter spread evenly to 24. The crunchy top is best eaten after the bottom has been broken off.

  7. thanks for the recipe. i made this the first time last week, but it didn’t turn out so well. i think it was because i tried to roll the dough instead of scooping it out with a scooper. that was a bit disappointing and messy, but i had to try it again. i just baked them and didn’t touch the dough with my fingers and used a scooper instead and they came out perfectly. i’m not sure how you were able to bake it using just one muffin tin- mine were super puffed unlike yours. next time i’ll spread it out onto two tins instead. i’ll be making this again for our church’s easter brunch. i think it’ll be a crowd pleaser. thanks!

  8. There are just soo many versions of snickerdoodle muffins/breads – I don’t know where to begin and stop!! Haha. But these are fo’ sho’ on my list. 😉

    I did do a different (but completely DELICIOUS, buttery, rich) version; now I want to make both and compare! I’ll be sure to update and share the results (even though I’m sure that both are delicious in their own ways!)
