1. We hiked Ensign Peak on Memorial Day and had a great time. Caleb hiked the entire time by himself. I am glad he enjoys hiking. I can’t wait to take him on more hikes this summer. Maxwell did well too. He was just along for the ride!
2. Do robots scare you?
3. I went on a drive with the boys and we ended up at Snowbird. We took a selfie on top of the mountain.
4. How do you take notes? I use my notes app on my iPhone and love it. Maria is old school and uses a pen and paper. This article proves that she is smarter than me! Someday, I may catch up to her!
5. Caleb has a Strider balance bike and is getting really good. Too good. He is fast! I think it is time he graduates to a pedal bike. We will start looking for one.

1. On Memorial Day, we went on a family hike. We had fun and enjoyed a beautiful view of Salt Lake City! I love where we live!
2. I will take two scoops.
3. Maxwell and Caleb love playing with my whisks, but this whisk is only for mama!
4. I am currently obsessed with berry yogurt parfaits. I made a big batch of coconut granola and have been eating them all week! I am also loving my new yellow Tieks🙂
5. This sandwich. Whoa!
6. Hosting house guests? Check out these tips!
7. Caleb and I had fun with sprinkles this week. They got everywhere, but it was worth it! Sprinkles make us both happy!
8. The S’mores of all S’mores!
9. This book is going to come in handy this summer…for my boys and for me:)
10. Maxwell loves sitting outside. He waves at all of the cars and says, “Hi!”
11. Amazing cake!
12. We are going to San Francisco tomorrow for a fun filled weekend with Alaska Airlines! What should we do, see, and eat? Make sure you follow us on Instagram!
I just got back from SFO – you MUST bike the Golden Gate bridge over to Sausalito (rent from Blazing Saddles, just at the end of the trolley line), and you MUST eat at Kokkari Estiatorio…get on their site and make a reservation now. Fresh Greek food that was so amazing, we can’t stop talking about it still two weeks ago! Enjoy!
Thanks for the suggestions!
Just got my son a strider (he’s 2), and won’t even touch it yet, haha!
San Fran is amazing! Too many amazing places! With the kids or without? hehe
I am sure he will be riding in no time:) We are taking the boys!
Knowing your sweet tooth, make a stop at Bi-Rite in the Mission District for some ice cream. I love their Ricanellas (snickerdoodle) ice cream. The Ferry Building with all its food stalls is a can’t miss destination (Acme Bread, Cowgirl Creamery, Ciao Bella Gelato, weekly farmers market and some excellent restaurants as well). Enjoy your trip!
Bi-Rite is for sure happening! Thanks!
Welcome to my home town!! If you’re coming on Friday and you get here before dinner – work your way over to Fort Mason (Marina District) and go to Off the Grid!! Amazing food trucks, music, etc.! Beautiful views, great people watching too! Super fun! We’re actually going tomorrow to celebrate a friend’s birthday! On Sunday’s Off the Grid moves to the Presidio green. Spread out a picnic blanket, enjoy the Walt Disney Museum and awesome food! The kids would love it! Garibaldi’s in the Presidio has amazing Italian, Slanted Door in the Ferry Bldg. – amazing Vietnamese. I agree with Bi Rite, but also throw Humphrey Slocombe in that ice cream mix, or Craftsman and Wolves for pastry. Love my city! Have a great weekend!
Sounds fun! Thanks for letting us know!
My 3-year-old boy learned on a balance bike in only about a month and now he is riding a pedal bike. He absolutely loves it and I’m sure Caleb will too! Balance bikes are awesome. Too bad we don’t live close so our boys could ride bikes together! 🙂
Start your day with the best coffee at Sightglass and then have lunch around the corner at Deli Board- best coffee and mega meat sandwich you will ever eat!
