Three Peas and Their Pod

No, we aren’t changing the name of our blog, but we do have some exciting news to share. We are expecting our first baby! We are both beyond excited. I am 13 weeks along and due on September 24th. It has been really hard to keep this a secret from all of you. We wanted to make sure our little baby was healthy before we announced our good news to the world. We’ve been to the doctor twice and everything is looking great!

Josh has been doing most of the cooking and baking for the past month or so. The foods I have been eating are definitely not blog worthy–toast, cereal, Malt-O-Meal, crackers, veggie sandwiches, etc. I have been feeling a little better this past week, so hopefully I will be back to normal soon. I miss being in the kitchen.

We don’t know what variety we are having yet, but we will find out when the time comes. We will keep you all posted! And again, we are not changing the name of our blog. We will still be “Two Peas and Their Pod,” we will just have one more helper in the kitchen.

Congratulations Maria and Josh!! I know what you mean. I’m now 5 1/2 months along and it has been a struggle to be in the kitchen. One minute I don’t even want to look at the kitchen and the next minute I can only handle cereal. I’m finally getting back into the kitchen after a 4 month hiatus, but it’s hard. I still don’t have a ton of energy. Glad to hear that baby is healthy and doing well. I’m excited for you guys!
