  1. As a grandmother of four, I delight in the antics of your boys and in the utter joy of parenting that you share. And . . . I pretty much had quit cooking for a number of years, as my husband retired and loves to cook. But your pear almond streusel bread coaxed me back into the kitchen! The best recipe ever! Even though the first time it took me much longer than 15 minutes prep time, as it took me that long to figure out how to use the food processor on the almonds. But five loaves later, I’ve located the measuring cups and spoons, and I’m enjoying the kitchen. My favorite recipes to try, now that I’m cooking again, are the spinach, kale, and pasta ones. Happy New Year. You’ve been a blessing to my home.

  2. I would love to see you make cheese grits and shrimp. This is my goal recipe for 2017.  I have eaten this dish in  Ft. Myers, FL and would love to reproduce it. Â
