Watermelon Spritzers

Happy 4th of July! Blueberry Yogurt Waffles are on our breakfast menu and then we are going to the neighborhood parade. After that, we are headed to our friend’s house for a pool party and barbecue. It should be a fun filled day!

If you are looking for an easy and refreshing drink to serve at your 4th of July party, make these Watermelon Spritzers. Don’t worry, they are super easy to make. There are only 5 ingredients involved! These no-fuss drinks are fun to serve and sip on!

Juicy watermelon is pureed and sweetened with honey and lemon. To finish the drink off, add a splash of fizzy seltzer water and garnish with fresh mint. It starts to open a normal size on my iPad, then every few seconds it shifts and flashes reducing in size and moving to the left of the screen until it is so small, about 2inches wide on the left side of the screen with the rest of the screen blank.   18. Using honey and lemon instead of sugar is a great idea and I will use these items to sweeten the food as sugar is often said to have bad effects on teeth and not good altogether for our health.

  20. This is my recipe: Put watermelon, lemon-lime soda, and grenadine into a blender.
    Blend for 20 to 30 seconds. Use a strainer to strain into pitcher.
    Divide frozen berries between 4 glasses. Pour juice over berries. Garnish with a straw and a sprig of mint.

  21. This drink combines some wine, some mineral water, grenadine…and of course some watermelon! I love watermelon. I eat it almost every day during the summer and I never get sick of it. Place watermelon in a blender. Cover and process until blended.
