  1. I make strawberry banana smoothies for my daughters for breakfast before school. It’s not really a recipe but I throw in a frozen banana, some frozen strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, some honey and some flax oil. They LOVE it!

  2. My favorite thing to make in the blender is fruit leather, aka fruit roll-ups. A variation of Martha’s cranberry apple is my favorite, although strawberry is fantastic too!!

  3. My favorite thing to make in a blender is roasted jalapeno salsa. Or a banana strawberry smoothie. Or a fun frosty adult beverage!

  4. I have wanted a bledtec blender for so long. I like to make blue cranberry smoothies but my blender does not do the job. I liked you on Facebook

  5. I’m a huge fan of mango smoothies for myself. When my daughter was younger, her favorite food was kale that had been through a blender (I’m lucky, I know!).

  6. I don’t know if I can choose a favorite blender recipe! I love my daily green smoothie, but now that the weather is finally cooling down, I’m looking forward to lots of soups as well.

I’ll say a spinach smoothie with avocado, orange, grapes, banana, ginger, and lime juice.

  7. The nutritionist I’ve been going to recently told me my 30-yr blender wouldn’t break down the fibers of spinach to release all nutrients. That hinders me making GREEN SMOOTHIES for breakfast. Romaine, baby spinach and a banana or pineapple. So good for you!!

  8. Smoothies are definitely the most common thing we use our blender for. I make a pumpkin soup for Thanksgiving using the blender too.

  9. My favorite recipe is butternut squash soup – so creamy and it doesn’t have any cream! (butternt squash, chicken broth, sweet onion, salt/pepper, pinch nugmet -so delicious!)

  10. My most frequent recipes are my post-workout smoothies. Peaches, raw honey, vanilla whey powder, ice, and OJ…yum! peaches and creamy!

  11. I love to make smoothies, salsa and so much more. I cook Indian food everyday, This great blender is perfect for making the curry base and Indian sauces.

  12. Milkshakes! I recently found a recipe for a shake that had frosted cake, ice cream and milk all blended together in frozen deliciousness.

  13. I LOVE making twice baked sweet potatoes with my blender. Baking them first, scooping them into the blender with cream and spices and then filling up the shells again and baking them, with some marshmallows on top!! But recently, I’ve been using it to make some delicious protein smoothies before or after a good workout!

  14. I haven’t owned a blender in a long time, but growing up my favorite was always making orange julius with my mom. Now, I have a recipe saved for a pumpkin smoothie that I’ve been desperately wanting to try. Here’s hoping!

  15. I have never had a great blender so I don’t blend much! But when we do use the one we have it is usually for smoothies or margaritas!

  18. I love the BlendTec. My favorite recipe to make is the “paste” for my dehydrated Kale chips. It is soaked cashews, colored pepper, turmeric, salt and nutritional yeast. I would love this new blender.

  19. I subscribe by email. I use my blender for smoothies. The one I have does not work very well and would like a new one. What a great giveaway.

  20. I love to make smoothies in the morning for breakfast. A little coconut milk, pineapple, lime zest and ice. it’s like a tropical paradise in a cup!

  24. Smoothies . . . lots of fresh, healthy fruits to keep this aging body healthy!

I am a regular follower of yours via subscription and Facebook . . . “liked” the blendtec page as well.

  25. My favorite recipe would have to be my SUPER healthy smoothie. It has 2 cups of spinach or kale, a couple strawberries, 1 apple, flax seed, teaspoon or oatmeal (dry), and just enough almond milk to get the consistency I like. I add bananas, blueberries, or carrots even sometimes as well!!

  26. I follow you on facebook and RSS feed!! My son is a competitive swimmer and he has a protein shake – chocolate, banana and peanut butter every day!!

  27. We love to make smoothies for a treat. I almost have them perfected. Would love to try out the famous Blendtec! “Will it blend?”

  28. I love making fresh strawberry bananna smoothies in my blender! Its the perfect summer morning (healthy) breakfast on the go – ice, low fat greek yogurt, frozen strawberries and a frozen bananna. YUM!!!!

  29. I make a smoothy almost every day. I’m also going to start making my own seed butters soon for my kids to take to school: pumpkin and sunflower for sure.

  30. “What is your favorite recipe to make using a blender? ”

Definitely smoothies with lots of frozen fruit and spinach to make it extra slushy!

  31. I use my blender mostly to make salads. For example, an arabic salad of tomatoes, parsley, lemon juice & garlic (sometimes a hot pepper too). Refreshing, delicious and perfect with rice.

  32. I need a new blender! I’m a Mexican food junkie, and I love making roasted tomatillo sauce for enchiladas in my current (crappy) blender.

  33. I would love to win this for my mom. She has Carcinoid Cancer and is having a hard time with solids. So we make smoothies all the time. Our favorite is a kale smoothie with OJ.. Her blender is old and her Bday is Sept 19th! This would be perfect! Thanks for a great offer!

  34. I’m obsessed with custards and they’re so easy to make. I just grow all the ingredients right in the blender, the only thing that’s annoying is scrapping the sides. I SO want this blender 🙂

  35. My favorite milkshake: 8 ounces of Ben & Jerry’s Peach Cobbler Ice cream; 1Banana; 4 Ounces of Blueberries; Whole Milk; Milkshake setting on the Blendtec.
Not a health drink, but SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO delicious!

  36. Favorite / easiest thing to make with a blender is filling for kugel (cream cheese, cottage cheese, vanilla, sour cream, sugar and eggs!)

  37. The recipe that I typically use is yogurt, milk, frozen bananas, and one of either a scoop of jam, frozen berries, or a scoop of peanut butter. Simple, delicious, and the kids love it.

  38. I am a smoothie fanatic–and need a new blender! I make a smoothie every day but my poor blender struggles with even a frozen banana!

  43. I make smoothies with my existing (thrift store) blender – strawberries, banana, chocolate protein powder, and almond or coconut milk – and I’m done!

Yum! And I’m still learning more blender recipes… For winter, I like a curried cauliflower soup. For that I usually use my immersion blender (because I am afraid of transferring hot soup into another vessel), but I know it would be much smoother in a regular blender.
