Today is a very exciting day! Cookie Cravings, our second cookbook, is now on sale! For the past couple of months we have been working with Heidi Larsen, of Foodie Crush, to create a book ALL about cookies. The book includes 30 cookie recipes, 15 favorite recipes from our blog and 15 new cookie recipes that I created specifically for Cookie Cravings. The 15 new recipes haven’t been published or seen anywhere else! All of the recipes include gorgeous photos, photographed and designed by Heidi. We are beyond thrilled with how the book turned out and I think you will be too.

  36. Hmmmm…….so difficult to decide……..my mom used to make these wonderful meringue cookies with corn flakes & just a small amount of flaked coconut folded in. They were then baked briefly and allowed to sit in the oven until dry. Crisp on the outside and tender w/ crunch from the cornflakes on the inside. Delicious! Then again, aren’t most cookies ๐Ÿ™‚

    A few months ago, I stopped by a bakery/coffee shop in Washington DC called Firehook Bakery & Coffee House. I bought the Chocolate Espresso Cookie (http://myeatsandtreats.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/20120214-091924.jpg), which now ranks as my very favorite cookie in the whole wide world. The outer layer reminded me of a crunchy meringue cookie, while the inside was a gooey fudgy brownie… WOW.

  62. My all-time favorite is still chocolate chip, but I always “doctor it up” to make it mine. I add white, milk, and semi-sweet chocolate chips as well as chopped pecans. They are a favorite at the local homeless shelter, where I try to take goodies every couple of weeks. Best of both worlds = I get to bake and get to share with lots of folks, without having them around the house to tempt me for too long!

  79. My favorite cookie is an Almond Peach Tarlet. It has a wonderful and delicious, a cream cheese crust, almond paste filling and peach jam on top.
