I am sad the Bears didn’t make it to the Super Bowl, but I am not a poor sport. I will still watch the game. I don’t really care which team wins so now I can have a good time and focus on the food. You can’t have a Super Bowl party without nachos. Trust me, you can’t. We always serve Loaded Nachos at our Super Bowl parties.
We make our own homemade baked tortilla chips and load them with toppings galore! Don’t hold back, it is a special day so make sure you add all of your favorite toppings. For our Loaded Nacho recipe, check out my guest post on Make and Takes.
If you aren’t a football fan, no worries, you can still make Loaded Nachos on Super Bowl Sunday. After one bite, I know you will become a fan of our nachos!
Yummy! That kind of dish is always very enjoyable!
Cheers,
Rosa
Those look great! And my hubs is a HUGE Bears fan (Chicago native but we live in San Diego). He will gladly take the nachos as a consolation prize 🙂
This chips alone look so good! Neither of our teams made it either, we we will be rooting for the packers!
I love the thought of making my own tortilla chops! I’ll have to check out your recipe.

Nachos are seriously the greatest. Excellent recipe!
Loaded nachos are great for anytime! Sorry your team didn’t make it 🙁 Keep eating those nachos! xo
Oh my goodness–I think I’m going to be more of a football fan this year! 🙂
I love nachos! I think it has to do with the tortilla chips, I can’t get enough of the salt!
Homemade baked tortilla chips are so tasty! I like do make my own as well.
I love loaded nachos! It reminds me of the days my dad was in charge of dinner. There was always a 50% chance we’d have nachos (frito pie was another 50% chance).
Football for me is always about the food and nachos are really the perfect game day fare! These sound fantastic.
i’m always down for mexican food! Anytime, anywhere! This is pretty much how I’d make my nachos recipe plus olives! I love olives. Wow, I’ll have to give your homemade tortillas a try, you guys are like chefs out there in Salt Lake 🙂
Love the avocado and beans on your nachos and the homemade baked tortilla chips!
Haven’t a clue about anything Superbowl – but love the idea of this!
nomnomnom These are awesome. 😛
Looks fabulous girl!
I’m with you Maria – my team is out so though I’ll be watching the game, it’s all about the food 🙂 Your nachos look terrific!

I make my own chips too!! I don’t even know who is playing in the superbowl. I do know that I want these nachos and I only care about the food next sunday 🙂 xoxo
What a yummy looking plate Maria! Althought Grumpy liks to say he doesn’t like “Mexican” food, he is not adverse to Nachos (sans the jalepenos – while I can’t get enough of them!)
It’s my fave Super Bowl dish. Thanks for sharing!
Nachos is such a fun and delicious dish. Nice picture as well!
You’ve totally inspired me to make my own tortillas and load them up. I love love love nachos!! Yours look so good!!
Perfect food for the game. I won’t be watching but I definitely would eat this!
I hate football, but your nachos might make it worthwhile to sit on the couch and pretend to watch!
My cousin loves nachos! I am sending her this post 🙂
That is a great idea! Making the chips low fat so you can load up on toppings. How come I never thought of that??!! Can’t wait to try!

Why is the healthy recipes don’t get as many comments? I blame getting fat on the fact that everybody likes the chocolate posts the best!
That’s why I am going to tell you how beautiful these nachos are. And I wish I had some of them right now—instead of the chocolate cupcakes I’m about to post!!
xoxo
Ha-Thanks Jaime!
These look great! I must try this recipe. Thanks
