I think I would invest in a food processor if I were to win the gift card. Or they have some pretty dishware that I would like to get, too. Anything from there would be an added bonus to the kitchen. Such a fun giveaway!! Thank you!

  7. It would be so hard to pick what to buy! I would probably buy a lot of baking supplies and any cake decorating things I could find. Also some kitchen decorations.

  8. I was gonna say pots and pans but they’re all 600+ and being a new mommy thats not quite in our budget lol I would REALLY LOVE a waffle iron! My husband LOVES waffles but we always have to go out to get them(which we rarely do with the new baby lol )
Also, I think we would enjoy a variety of spices! We love to experiment with different flavors πŸ™‚

  9. There is so much to choose from at William Sonoma, so it’s hard to pick just one thing, but I would probably buy a Kitchen Aid Mixer, since I’ve always wanted one.

  10. I would definitely start off with the microplane herb mill, I’ve been eyeing it for a while now! One of their duel recycling bins would be great too. It’s hard to choose in that amazing store!

A food processor, sturdy knives, a blender, a food processor (in place of the 20 pounder my grandma gave me, haha)… We are dreaming of the day when we do not have to try to mash and chop up our food by hand – though we have gained INCREDIBLE respect for those who lived and cooked pre-electronics πŸ™‚

  24. It’s a toss-up between putting it toward an espresso machine or buying the All Clad slow cooker. We’ve been eyeing both for a long time! LOVE everything at W-S!

  25. Oooh, tough choice. I’d either put it toward a piece of LeCreuset or toward a Kitchen Aid for my mom. She’s having a big birthday pretty soon. Will selfishness or selflessness win out?

  26. After my family broke three (three! WHAT WERE THEY DOING?!) of my steak knives over the holidays, I’d definitely used the gift card to get a new knife set.

  28. I agree with another commenter: “What wouldn’t I buy?!” But given that I’d have to make a decision eventually, I’d choose a marble rolling pin and the marble board to go with it. Would make my life of baking delicate desserts in south Texas MUCH easier.

    Cheers,

    *Heather*

Of course the practical side of me says I should get a kitchen tool, like that Breville panini press…

  38. Hmmm….a belgian waffle maker, a panini press, new pots and pans, mini bread tins…my list could go on and on! Love Williams Sonoma’s!!!

  58. Wow–this is a tough one. I am definitely in the market for a Le Creuset Dutch Oven, but I might be swayed to buy a bunch of smaller things, including the Star Wars Vehicle Cookie Cutters, Message-In-A-Cookie Cutters, a jellyroll pan, a muffin pan, etc.

  76. I would buy four of the Cuisine Automatic Yogurt Makers (one to keep and three to give as gifts to extended family). We all pack individual yogurts for lunch and I hate the waste of the lids plus the wasted resources used to make and recycle plastic containers. Making yogurt would be another small change in the way we are trying to live. Plus, I would love if my family could stir some table talk during lunch and inspire others to think about their impact on the environment.

  92. I’d finally buy the Le Creuset 12″ frying pan I’ve been coveting for months now. It’d be the perfect pal for my Le Creuset Dutch Oven!

  93. KitchenAid mixer! No question, hands down, I’ve wanted one forever. My mom thinks I have to wait ’til I get married (wedding present I guess?) but I got news, I’m not waiting!

  94. I want a kitchen scale! I really really want a kitchenaid mixer, but I don’t really have room in my kitchen. But a scale? That I can use. And maybe a new Le Creuset friend for my dutch oven πŸ™‚

  101. What a wonderful giveaway! Right out of college I moved to Mexico to teach in a missionary school. Now, 2 years later, I am headed back home to teach in the States. Since I am starting fresh, with hardly a spatula to my name, a gift card like this would come in handy! πŸ™‚ I think that I would use this gift card to buy some high quality basics that would last for years to come (i.e. gadgets, or putting the money towards a great set of pots and pans), or I would put the money towards a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. It is a dream of mine to own one someday! πŸ™‚

  138. I would actually use the gift card to purchase my mother a KitchenAid Mixer. She has been wanting one forever. For my wedding, she purchased me one, but refuses to spend that kind of money on herself.

I recently found your blog and LOVE it! Thanks!

  139. If I won the gift card, I would buy a henckles or Wusthof knife and an all-clad pans. Then I would invite my family over and cook a nice healthy meal, and drink some wine to celebrate!

  140. If I won a $200 shopping spree in William’s Sonoma, I’d get a candy thermometer, a mandolin, a remote roasting thermometer, a fancy bundt pan…. I could go on an on but I’ll leave it at that! πŸ™‚

  141. I would get a good candy thermometer (that supermarket find isn’t working very well) and some of those gold baking pans and i need more vanilla–or..or…or man i’m having too much fun just dreaming about all the good things i’d get. Great giveaway! Thanks

  142. I would buy a piece of Le Creuset cookware. I just bought my first piece last month and I LOVE IT. Can’t wait to add more pieces to my collection.

  143. My fiance and I are currently living in Kenya doing development work, but are moving home to the States in May to get married! Consequently, all we own right now is what fits in our four 50 lb suitcases- not much room for pots and pans (but I am bringing home a bunch of great spices)! I’m also a foodie and love to cook, so I would LOVE a good Le Crueset pot or pan!

  144. Recently found your website and am now following. Enjoying all the meatless recipes. Anyway, I would probably get some serving dishes (I don’t really have any-gasp!), mixing bowls, and a new spatula.

  145. It’d be so hard to choose! But ive been in desperate need of a coffee maker and they have some awesome ones so I’d probably go with that!

  146. If I won a gift certificate to Williams Sonoma, I would pick up a set of really good steak knives for my husband, and a new tea kettle. I’d also check to see what they have for cast iron cookware. It would all be for my husband though…he loves to cook and bake, so I’d love to treat him to something special from the store!

  147. The question isn’t what would I buy at Williams Sonoma… it’s what WOULDN”T I buy! I have drooled over every piece of cookware and cutlery in that store so many times that they have threatened to put a bib on me the next time I visit!

  148. I desperately need a new sauce pot as I burned mine making Faro last year(I forgot about it and left the house)! The hosue was smoked out! Great giveaway, Maria!

  149. oh man what don’t i need from william-sonoma! i would a bundt pan, mandoline, silocone cookies sheet liners, pastry scrapper, biscuit cutter, madeliene pan oh the possibilities!

  150. I would have to get something fun like the Easter Cookie Cutter and Stamp set. Then an Ebelskiver pan so that I can make Tarte Tatin-Filled Pancakes – Yummy! The rest would go towards a good food processor (hey, practicality has to take over sometime!). What a great giveaway! Thank you!

  151. Seems every time I walk into Williams-Sonoma I fall into a time warp and usually lose about a hour just roaming the place…almost impossible not to buy something in that place to add to my collection.

  152. I would love some Le Creuset Stoneware. I made a big pan of Artichoke Spinach Lasagna last night and had to use my broiler pan to make it in. It was delicious but would have looked better in a LeCreuset dish!

  153. I would LOVE to buy some new kitchen gadgets for the home I just moved into. My boyfriend and I love cooking together and are always looking for fun new kitchen gadgets. I might also get some red towels and accessories to help spruce up my new digs πŸ™‚ !! They would all go GREAT with my new recipes I will make from the Taste of Home Tanga deal I snagged today….thanks!

  154. I would buy some All-Clad cookware! My cookware that I am using is what I started with when I got married 39 yrs ago and it needs to go!

  155. If I had $200 at W.S. , I might pass out! The nearest one is 2 hours away by ferry and car. But worth every second!! Maybe some baking sheets and cake decorating supplies… Naw, a Le Cruset pot of some sort!!

  156. New pots and pans!! Or new cookie sheets!!! Or just about anything they sell!! But I really NEED a good covered braising pan so that would top my list.

  157. I would buy a silpat, mine is falling apart – and a few gifts for a few special people in my life. I am SO glad I live no where near a W&S — that store is mind boggling! I would so rather spend an afternoon in a store like that than a jewelry store!

Thanks for the chance! Ordering both TOH and Bon Appetit!

  158. your blog has inspired a new love of cooking for me! I have the spinach canneloni in the oven now. I’d love to get a cast iron pot at Williams Sonoma! Thank you for doing this blog!

  159. There are SO many things I would LOVE to buy from Williams Sonoma! My husband and I are getting ready to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and we have the same slowcooker we received for our wedding. I would love to update it since I use it several times a week. πŸ™‚

  160. I would either splurge on the beabas baby cooking system or buy myself some new cookware…Im noticing my skillet is showing wear (its nonstick) I love Williams sonoma anything there would be amazing!!

  161. William Sonoma is my favorite place to shop for gifts. They always have great items everyone would love. For myself, I would buy some serving items. We just bought our first house and we serious lack entertainment serving items.

  162. Love your blog! With a williams-sonoma gift card I would buy a food processor – have never had one and think I could put it to good use!

  163. I would put the gift card towards a nice stand mixer. I only have a $30 hand-held mixer, and I bake a lot, so a stand mixer would be SO nice to have!

  164. I’m lacking a few things in my kitchen cabinets, including, asian soup spoons, nice serving utensils and a pretty set of ramekins that I can use to present individual servings of baked eggs.

  165. I love everything and anything from Wlliams-Sonoma!! But I would probably buy the pasta attachment for the kitchen aid stand mixer, as a gift for a friend. And then whatever is left will go to a new blender that I desperately need or something else thats lots of fun, like a garlic press.

  166. Ohhh, Williams-Sonoma…I’m like a kid in a candy store when I’m at WS. I walk around mesmerized at all the wonderful things in the store. I get excited when I get their catalog. I’m thinking it would be nice to finally get a LeCreuset Dutch Oven. I’ve had my eye on one for years but haven’t yet splurged on one. Would love to be able to try recipes for a dutch oven and expand my cooking horizons.

  167. I’m getting married in October, and the price of nice knives has me thinking no one will buy them off our registry. I would definitely use the gift card for those!

  168. This is one giveaway I would LOVE to win! I am in desperate need of a new 12-inch All-Clad straight-sided skillet. My current pan filling that role is a nonstick brand-that-shall-remain-nameless that is so warped it practically spins on the burner! Please root for ME, everyone!

  169. With summer in Florida quickly approaching, I’d get an ice cream maker! Our 4month old has a milk intolerance, so I’ve been dairy free until I’m done breastfeeding. It would be so great to make my own treats this summer! I’ve also been wanting a griddle for so long, the le creuset is calling my name!

  170. ah! i love everything from william sonoma! i have one smaller le creuset that i use ALL the time but i find myself needing one a bit bigger – that’s for sure what would be on the top of my list at willliam sonoma!
