4. We have been bathing the boys together every night. Lots of splashes and laughs!

5. I am not a huge golf fan, but I watched the Masters on Sunday. Jordan Spieth had an incredible tournament. Tom Brady gave Jordan some advice prior to the his Masters win.

snowman

6. We got a huge snow storm this week, which means another great day on the slopes and I got to build a snowman with my little buddy! Mom stayed inside. She isn’t happy about the spring snow.

Hers

lilacs

1. Lilacs are probably my most favorite thing about spring! I wish they would bloom all year long! And P.S., we got a huge snow storm yesterday so my pretty lilacs are covered in snow:(

2. Dessert for one! Not really, but I could probably eat it all by myself!

maxwell

3. Maxwell is sitting up and talking. He can’t carry on a conversation quite yet, but he is saying dada and mama:) He gets when to use them too! And so what if he said dada first:) We are still waiting for him to say Caleb! Right now, he calls him baba. Brother?? Maybe? He’s probably just babbling!

4. Spring dresses and skirts. Where can I find them? I am not a shopper and avoid the mall as much as possible, so if you have any suggestions on where I can go before I actually go shopping, that would be awesome. And if you can tell me where to find them online so I don’t even have to go to the mall, I will love you even more! Thanks!

  1. I love your “This and That” posts and look forward to them every Thursday. (I missed the one last week but realized you were busy.) There seem to be more and more little pop up ads at the bottom of the photos. Is that something new? I find them a bit distracting. Still love your posts, though!

    1. Glad you are enjoying the posts! We are trying out the image ads, we’ve had them for a few months.

  2. Can’t resist a little boy with baseball bat in hand and those sweet little faces in the tub. We have four boys, always an adventure. And snow in April? We had snow last week too, but nothing like what you got. Definitely not enough for that gargantuan snowman. Sorry about the lilacs…hope they recover. Ours are barely budding….

    1. I actually am trying it for the first time! My first fix should be here soon! I hope I like it! Thanks!

  3. I love lilacs and am very sad not to have any of them in my own yard.

For clothing, have you thought about using Stitch Fix? If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a monthly service where you set up a style profile, pay $20, and then a stylist sends you clothing to try on at home; anything you don’t want you return in the pre-paid envelope they provide. Anything you do want, you keep, and the $20 stylist fee is credited towards what you buy. You can find lots of reviews online, and get a feel for the clothing styles they have.

    1. Funny you mentioned Stich Fix, my first fix should arrive any day! I am excited to try it!

  4. Sooooooo many ads on the mobile site. Was much better before, for me at least. (I’m on android.) But I love your site and these posts especially.

    1. I know, the site was prettier before, but Google is going to start penalizing sites that aren’t mobile friendly so we had to make the switch! I hope you will still read our blog!

  5. For spring dresses/outfits: check out Modcloth.com. I love her unique styles!
On another note, your boys are so adorable! I think those smiles could light up a whole town!

  6. Have you heard of CAbi? Started by Carol Anderson after her years of designing for Nordstrom and other boutique department stores, she now brings a Spring and Fall collection directly to you through trunk/fashion shows in your home. CAbi girls become your personal stylist with THE best customer service to match the high-quality, comfort, and versatility of the clothes! Such an amazing company that also funds micro-loans to disenfranchised women entrepreneurs around the globe!

I don’t like to shop…crowds, traffic, time with two kids and full-time job, etc! I fell in love with the first piece I tried on years ago and am so passionate about the foundation and quality of the company, I’ve become a representative 🙂 You can view the collection online at http://www.daniellemohan.cabionline.com and click “Purchase” in the far right bottom of the screen. Please email me to learn more or if you would like to experience a CAbi show! You’ll be so happy you did!

  7. One of my favorite places to shop is Christopher and Banks. You can shop on line. Coldwater Creek is another favorite site.

  8. Old Navy is my go to for skirts and dresses! Affordable, cute and super comfy. Boys are so cute 😉

  9. The picture of the boys in the bath is too adorable (though they will not be happy later when they see it as adults…lol). I need to make more asparagus…I love it and just keep forgetting to buy it at the grocery store. Never thought of avocado on toast…will have to check that out. As for dresses – depending on what you like I would suggest either Christopher Banks online or Modcloth for dresses and maybe Eve’s Addiction if you want some jewelry to go with it

  10. Love your post! I love old navy gap and American eagle… Then for more sophistication. Macy’s. I have seen another food bloggers post on stitch fix and think the prices are high.

    1. I am trying my first Stich Fix. I am not sure what the prices are, I just like the idea of not leaving the house..ha!

  11. Hi Maria! You can never ever go wrong with Nordstrom! And they have a plethora of spring dresses/skirts right now on their website! Lots and lots are on sale, too! Good luck!! ; )
