Because of my cancer, we are doing things a little differently this year and we already bought a frozen pumpkin spice pie and a frozen cherry pie which are both sitting in our freezer. We might go out of town to our relatives this year and then either have our own before the holiday or after. We just really enjoy the food!
Enjoy your day!
Sending our best to you! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Lovelight Farms. It’s like the perfect Hallmark movie written as a book–one of my all time favorite books, period. I also really liked Just Like Magic (think Buddy the Elf has magic and moves in with the Schitt’s Creek family) but it’s a bit out there. All I Want for Christmas by Maggie Knox was a good too–it’s set on a country music version of American Idol. Mistletoe Motive was a quick read and good if you like retellings of Jane Austen books. Cat Cafe Christmas was also fun. [I’ve been on a massive Christmas book kick already this year in case you can’t tell–also read Once Upon a December, Merry Little Meet Cute, Kiss Her Once for Me, and Family Game–all good, but I’m guessing not your reading taste based on books you’ve featured on This & That in the past)
Thanks for all of the suggestions!
hey y’all- great list! Yummy food and cute clothes! Love the snow scene- so pretty. Maria- I have a book for you- Joanna Fluke’s Christmas cupcake murder. Oh my Word it is so good. I plan on reading it again this year!! Y’all have a wonderful Thanksgiving- so much to be Thankful for. God is so good!!
Thanks! I will check out the book.
Book suggestion: such a feel good story – “Christmas Jars” by Richard Paul Evans. It’s also a cheezy movie.
Thanks!
Beautiful picture of the snow and great Thanksgiving section.
Thanks Jill!
