I love Mexican wedding cakes. Unfortunately, no more baking for me until after the first of the year, if then. My oven died this past Sunday and we have been shopping for a new one that fits both our needs and our small kitchen.
As I told my son, there is no law that christmas cookies have to stop being baking at the end of the season.
Oh no!! Bad timing! I am so sorry.
hey y’all- great list!! Yummy food and cute clothes. Love the pic of the mountains- oh so cool!! I hope we get a lot of snow here in Oklahoma this year. Fingers crossed!
Thanks!
I would love to see some recipes for soups, I love soup especially at this time of year.
I have new soup recipes coming your way. I love soup too.
I started watching Hallmark and Netflix Christmas movies for the first time this year! While I LOVE all things Christmas, I wasn’t a big fan of the cheesy Christmas movies. I started watching them in honor of my Mom who passed away in November. She watched them all the time! I always Google to see where they’re filmed, and I was pleasantly surprised about Falling For Christmas. I love your state of Utah! I was there in September for the second time hiking at Zion and Bryce Canyon. I would go back every year if I could!
Utah is so beautiful.
I’m about 3/4 the way through Meet me Under the Mistletoe by Jenny Bayless and so far, it’s awesome. Barely Christmassy, but just such a good book about how childhood friendships translate in adulthood; working class vs. upper class tensions and prejudices on both sides; and an underlying romance that is shaping up to be a great one. High hopes for the finish!
Thanks for sharing.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the great posts! I really enjoy reading blogs and I appreciate how consistent you are at posting these fun Thursday updates! Plus you have the best recipes, I made your eggnog bread last night and it was delicious. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
XOXO Lexy
Thanks for your sweet words. Thanks for being here.
I would love to see more recipes with grains – farro, quinoa, or others. I like to do bowls with a protein and would like some more ideas.
Thanks for the feedback.
