  • Our lilacs are out. The sensation lilacs are cool.
  • Everyone should be able to celebrate Taco Tuesday. These are my favorite tacos…and these.
  • Our boys still have another week of school. I wish every school got out right before Memorial Day and went back right after Labor Day. Makes sense to me.
  • I am going to make these this weekend.

  1. Spectacular Lilacs! Bring on the grilling and colorful summer salads. Your balsamic vinaigrette is 5+ star quality. Your photos bring everything to life. Caleb and Maxwell look adorable enjoying their treats. Have a great holiday weekend.

  2. hey y’all- yummy food and cute clothes! Love the cute pic and those Lilacs are amazing ! I really like your new haircut Maria- Oh so pretty!!

  3. I’d love to know where you got your romper from that you are wearing in this pic? So cute

  4. I love the lilacs! And your kiddos are getting so big! ❤️ As one who wears hearing aids, I abhor the noisy restaurants. We tried to get into a restaurant for breakfast on Mother’s Day – it was so noisy just going in to talk to the hostess, we turned around and left. I pointed to a bagel shop across the parking lot and said, let’s go there. Obviously a mom and pop joint, it had outdated decor with acoustic tile ceiling and upholstered banquette seating. Everyone was talking in a normal voice, music was playing softly. It was a delightful experience, even though the place was bustling! We loved it.
