2. I spent Saturday at Deer Valley Resort with some buddies. Every time I go I am consistently amazed at what an incredible resort it is. I am not a big red meat eater and have not had a burger in probably 10 years until this year. Everyone was telling me I had to try Deer Valley’s burger, so I gave it a shot. Now, I have eaten a burger every time I have been skiing at Deer Valley. It is too good to pass up!

6. I want to try this, when I do I will let you know how it works.

1. We are still struggling with a name for our baby boy. We decided on Caleb almost as soon as we found out he is a boy. It was so easy! I feel bad we can’t settle on a name for this little guy. We have a list of 5 favorites, but that list changes almost every day. Josh and I aren’t agreeing this time around. It’s a good thing we have until August to decide:)

2. I don’t have a green thumb, but I want to buy plants so I can make these vases.

3. Caleb is still loving his big boy bed. He is not only sleeping like a champ, but he will go in his room during the middle of the day and lay in his bed. I caught him reading on Sunday:)

4. If you shop at Target, you will find this funny.

5. I love Emily Giffin’s books so I don’t know why it took me so long to read Where We Belong. Loved it! Rumor has it she is coming out with a new book soon too! Yay!

6. I am getting good at this. It used to be really hard for me, but practice makes perfect:)

7. Can we talk about maternity swimsuits for a minute? I know it isn’t a fun topic, but I need help! I am going to Florida and Hawaii next month and I need a new suit. Any suggestions on where I can find a cute suit that is somewhat flattering with a baby bump? I am not expecting to look like a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, but I want to be able to go to the pool and beach without making a complete fool of myself:) Thanks for the help!

8. Baking cookies should be an every day task….just like brushing your teeth and taking a shower. Ok, I will admit sometimes I don’t shower every day, but when you have fresh baked cookies, who cares? 🙂

9. This post about food blogging made my laugh!

10. I love a good clean out the fridge salad!

11. Thursday is my TV night…ok, Wednesday is too, I have to watch Nashville. But tonight it’s all about Grey’s and Parenthood. I think I need to eat these bonbons while I watch my shows!

  1. Love the throw back picture of the peanut! Picking a name is HARD- we decided on Kaylin pretty much the day or day before she was born. Rock a bikini ! I did- who cares 😉

  2. Emily Giffen’s new book comes out 5/20. It’s called The One and Only! I love her books and can’t wait. It’s so nice to see Caleb enjoying his big boy bed! Don’t worry about a name you will agree one one. I have 3 boys! Good luck with the swimsuit hunting!

  3. I love that picture of Caleb reading–too cute! And that Target list–holy cow. Spot. On.

  4. I actually found a cute maternity swimsuit at Target, but maybe you have already looked there. Funny in light of the Target link in your post! =)

  5. Thanks for sharing my recipe, Maria! I fully support some serious bonbon snacking while watching TV. It’s only natural, really. And I’m thrilled that you linked to the craft stick planter DIY from design love fest. That’s my next project! xo

  6. I heard the name Cooper yesterday from a co-worker who just had a little boy. I love it! Just an idea 🙂

  7. Hi, Maria!
Have you looked online @ Asos? They have a handful of maternity swimsuits & several non-maternity suits. We have 3 boys, & naming the second was the easiest! Lol
Our boys’ names are Kellen, Wyatt & Travis.

  8. I’m 25 weeks along with my 2nd & just got back from Hawaii. I love my tankini w/ ruching from Motherhood Maternity. I also got a new one for the trip- an Assets brand (non-maternity) tankini top from Target- the side ruching makes all the difference! I paired it with a non- maternity black tankini bottom also. This worked much better than the maternity tankini I ordered fr Target that just hung off my bump. Hope you find some good options!

  9. Absolutely love the Target list! And I agree, cookies should probably be made every day!

  10. My recommendation on swimsuits is GAP Maternity or Old Navy. You can just buy the pieces, so if you have a solid pair of bikini bottoms, you can just buy the maternity tank top. If you’re comfortable wearing a bikini though, maybe just flaunt your bump in a regular suit. I had two maternity tanks and they kept riding up in the pool and swishing around. It got so annoying that I was more comfortable in a regular bikini instead. And honestly, I only ended up wearing those two maternity suits for that ONE week so it was pretty much a waste of money. However, if more coverage makes you feel better or you’re going to be swimming a lot over the summer, then a maternity suit is totally worth it. Good luck!

  11. Everywhere I look I see lots of women sporting bikinis with baby bumps, its so cute. Wear what you feel comfortable in. Lands end and llbean also have a lot of mix and match swim suits. And as for a name for your future son, don’t worry about it, one will come that you both like, or use one as the middle name.

  12. I also found my maternity swimsuit at Target and love it! I don’t know if they have them out yet, but it is April. 🙂 I also just found a tankini top I liked in Maternity and matched it with normal bottoms. Worked pretty well.

  13. Also I had to google Bili lights,I didn’t know what it was. The Brie and Blueberry grilled cheese looks amazing!

  14. Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com has some really nice maternity swimwear. Super cute. Saks Fifth Avenue may also have maternity swimwear also, but I know they have a lot of really cute maternity jeans. Are you a vegetarian? I never see any recipes with meat/much meat based protein??

    1. I will look at Nordstrom. Thanks! I am a vegetarian, but Josh is not so we occasionally post meat recipes.

  15. #3 for us was going to be Dylan either way but I’m glad we had a boy after two girls! I bought all of my maternity clothes including bathing suits at Old Navy. Oh Target – that list is spot on. I’m stilling finishing Where We Belong but I’m excited for her new book too!
