Green Beans with Lemon and Shallots

These easy green beans go great with any meal!

  • 1 pound green beans wash and snap off the ends
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon minced shallots
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • In a large saute pan heat the olive oil. Add the shallots. Cook for one minute.
  • Stir in the green beans. Pour the juice of one lemon over the green beans in the pan. Toss the green beans and cook until tender, but still crisp.
  • Season the beans with salt and pepper. Serve warm.
