Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 2/3 cup packed cilantro leaves
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 jalapeño, seeds removed and diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a food processor or blender, blend the avocado, Greek yogurt, buttermilk, cilantro, green onion, jalapeno, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth. Taste and add more salt, if necessary. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more buttermilk until desired consistency is reached.
