  • Sale: shorts and shirt.
  • Summer is flying by. I can’t believe we have less than a month before school starts.
  • Sunday is National Ice Cream Day, what is your favorite flavor? Salted caramel is usually my pick.
  • Do you shower in the morning or at night?

  • On the blog this week, a simple and elegant dessert, a simple side dish, and a flavorful summer salad.
  • I love keeping cookie dough balls in the freezer, they have saved me SO many times! Check out my cookie recipes and keep a stash in the freezer.
  • The Nordstrom sale is still going strong. I love these sneakers, these flats, this pretty cardigan, and you can’t go wrong with a good basic tee. See all of my favorites HERE!
  • I am currently reading this book.
  • Who’s watching the new (and final) season of The Summer I Turned Pretty? I haven’t started it yet, but hopefully tonight.

  1. Thank you for sharing, always love to read the thursday posts šŸ™‚

The morning vs evening shower thing is interesting. For me personally, I really don’t like the feeling of going to bed with wet or damp hair. Curly hair can look wild the next morning too. I also read that it’s damaging for your hair and can be bad for the pillows? Morning showers it is for me.

The 99 parenting affirmations were too many for me… I stopped paing attention ca. at 23 šŸ˜€ I love the idea though and it’s good to have some of those in the back of your mind.

Our garden is producing cucumbers, zucchini and spinach like crazy – I need to research new recipes to try!

    Enjoy your summer!

  2. Caleb and Maxwell fishing is so great to see! And I can’t wait to watch The Summer I Turned Pretty- it’s been a long wait since Season 2. This calls for popcorn.

  3. I shower in the morning after the gym, but I also do a quick rinse at night to get the pollen off (thanks, perimenopausal allergies) and cool down before bed.
