- We went skiing at Alta to watch the fireworks show. The best way to ring in the new year…and we were in bed before midnight.
- The boys don’t go back to school until Wednesday so we will keep having fun.
- I fired up the outdoor pizza oven and we made pizza the other night. It’s been awhile. I made extra pizza sauce to keep in the freezer.
- Hiking boots and shoes.

Recipe requests: Salad with fig vinaigrette; Appetizers, Side dishes~
Looking forward to another great year of This and That.
A fig vinaigrette sounds amazing!
Maria, what size weight do you suggest for the wrist/ankle weights as well as the weighted vest?? Thank you!
So it depends on your fitness level and goals…but I’ve heard for the weighted vest start with 10 percent of your body weight. I have 2 lbs for the wrist/ankle weights.
Happy 2026!
Thank you for the delicious recipes, cute findings and for sharing a bit of your family with us.
