- We hiked up to Cecret Lake over the weekend. It’s one of our favorite easy hikes. So beautiful!
- We’re back in school, and as much as I love having a routine again, I wasn’t ready for summer to be over, it went by way too fast!
- I always bake cookies for the first day of school. This year, I made these!
- Yes to this top, this jacket, and this cardigan.
- Recipes for back to school! Ideas for breakfast, lunches, dinner, and snacks!
- I am still watching The Summer I Turned Pretty. It’s getting a little better. Has anyone seen Freakier Friday? I want to see it, but might wait until I can watch it at home.
- Currently loving these home finds! Pretty affordable prices too!
- Good gingham set! Don’t forget the sheets and comforter.
- Sharing meals = happiness!

- Added this, this, and these to my cart!
- I am going to the library today! What books should I checkout?
Can’t wait to see views like you posted today. We are coming to CO to visit family next week and taking a trip up to the mountains.
Have a great time!

The book Decoding Boys is amazing. I have two teenage boys …this book is wonderful!
Thank you!
Just out of curiosity, have you ever ordered from ASOS? I’ve been eyeing a beautiful cardigan but after reading the reviews on Trust Pilot, I hesitated and did not purchase. I wondered if you could share your experience, if you have purchased from them in the past. Thank you.
Yes, I have and I’ve had good luck on the items I’ve ordered. I like shopping there.
Best Wishes in the new school year for Caleb & Maxwell! I can’t believe they are both in junior high now. They will remember those back to school cookies forever. What a wonderful tradition.
Thanks so much! I can’t believe it either. Cookies are my favorite tradition:)
‘The Girls in the Stilt House’ really enjoyed this read.

I love visiting the library too! I usually just pick random books, but thought I would ask for some suggestions this week. Thank you for sharing!

I am currently reading Theo of Golden and would highly recommend.
Thanks Joan!
books — if you like rock check out one of Ozzy’s books — wow crazier than I thought. Very interesting though.
And kudos to the boys — love love Caleb’s hat — born and raised in Wisconsin – Go Pack. You need to take him to a game.
Thank you! Caleb has been asking to go to a Packers game since he was 3. We really need to make it happen!
Love that Packers hat – we have been fans for a long time! We try to go to Lambeau for a game each season it is the ultimate experience!
Caleb’s dream is to go to a game at Lambeau! How fun!
