  1. I just bought the Jetsetters! They won’t arrive for a week or so though. They look like PERFECT running errands pants and travel pants!

  2. I LOVE the ukulele and think that it is a great gift idea for anyone! However, as a music educator, I would never recommend a colored instrument, especially a colored string instrument. They are poor quality in how they are made and the materials they are made put of. Often they are painted “fun” colors to hide the fact that they are pretty much made of particle board. If you really want to give the gift of music and the joy that an accessible and fun instrument like the ukulele brings, I would suggest that you spend a little more money and actually buy a good quality entry-level instrument that will bring joy for years to come. It will actually be playable and sound good, whereas a painted or colored instrument really is just a toy – it won’t sound good, your child (or whomever you give it to) won’t want to play it, and it will end up sitting under the bed collecting dust.
