Being pregnant during the summer is not fun. Ok, being pregnant is never “fun,” but it is worth it. It’s a good thing a cute little baby is my prize at the end of all of this:) I was pregnant with Caleb during the summer, so I knew what was coming, but this time around it seems more miserable. It is hot outside and I am constantly looking for ways to cool down.

My new favorite cool down treat is this Raspberry Coconut Smoothie. I want to drink it all day, every day!

You only need five ingredients and five minutes to make this smoothie recipe. So there should be no excuses, you all need to make this smoothie today!

I use Almond Breeze Unsweetened Almondmilk Coconutmilk in this smoothie. Have you tried it? It is my current obsession! I can’t get enough. Almonds are blended with real coconut to produce a rich, creamy non-dairy beverage that is delish. It is all natural, dairy, soy, lactose, cholesterol and gluten free. It is great plain, but it is amazing in my smoothie! It gives this smoothie the perfect coconut flavor.

In your blender, combine Almond Breeze Unsweetened Almondmilk Coconutmilk, raspberries, banana, and spinach. Blend until smooth, pour in a glass, and top with shredded coconut. Boom! That is it! Sip away and pretend you are vacationing on a tropical island!

If you want a brighter color smoothie, you can leave out the spinach, but I love adding greens to my smoothies. I promise you can’t taste the spinach and I like the purple color!

Cool off this summer with a Raspberry Coconut Smoothie. This smoothie is great for breakfast, snack time, or even dessert. I know I will be sipping on this smoothie until I have this baby. Only eight hot weeks to go:)

  1. Confession: I eat a bag of Blue Diamond salted & roasted almonds every single day! I love love love their products. I’m talking about the 1 pound bag and I’ve lost weight doing this!!

Almond Breeze Milk, put me in coach, I use this product in every single smoothie and like you, I don’t hesitate to add spinach because it so easy to get it down my kiddos this way!!

Blue Diamond products are the best!! Love them. Plus raspberries, like my 4-year-old says….”you gotta be kidding me mom…this is awesome”

  2. I LOVED my pregnancies but summer pregnancy was the best! The clothes are easier and food is so much fresher/better! Hopefully things brighten up for you before the end 🙂

  3. 8 weeks…what….I feel like that went so fast! I mean, as the onlooker that may be an easy thing to say! This smoothie looks delicious, can’t wait to give it a try! Best of luck to you and baby on the way 🙂

  4. Oh my goodness, I made it this morning before leaving for work and it is DELICIOUS! I added cinnamon powder and some frozen blueberries before blending. Very tasty, refreshing and delicious! Thanks Maria!
