Peppermint Bark Milkshake

Christmas is only a few days away. How did that happen? Our tree is up, the presents are wrapped, and the baking is done…for now. The baking is never really done at our house:) I always get the urge to bake more cookies. If you are tired of baking, but still in the mood for a special holiday treat, make a Peppermint Bark Milkshake. You don’t have to turn on the oven for this recipe.

We always have extra peppermint bark this time of year. I either made way too much or we were given too much from friends and family. This is not a complaint. Having too much peppermint bark is a good thing. Especially when you turn it into a Peppermint Bark Milkshake.

This recipe is so simple. You only need four ingredients: vanilla ice cream, peppermint bark, milk, and whipped cream. If you don’t have peppermint bark sitting on your counter, go beg your neighbors to share or buy some from the store. I know Costco sells it in bulk. You can make your own, but I know you are tired. It has been a busy month.

This shake blends up in no time! I like to top the shake with whipped cream and extra peppermint bark-for color and a little crunch.

Enjoy the rest of the holiday season. Sit back, relax, and sip on a Peppermint Bark Milkshake. Cheers!

  2. Tired of baking but still in the mood for Christmas flavor is usually where I am this time of year but I really, really have been putting off the Christmas baking this go around. Usually I’ve created a BUNCH of different cookies, but I haven’t gotten into the grove at all! I think I’ll leave it all to the 23rd. Make a small batch and indulge for a couple of days instead of the usual few weeks — read a month 😉
