1. Maxwell turned 3 over the weekend and he requested a pirate cake. I am not a cake decorator so we had to get creative. Maxwell loved it and that is all that matters. Oh, and it did taste amazing. I can make a delicious cake🙂

The article about babies / children using IPads is soooo spot on! I don’t have children but even I have noticed a change in parent / child dependency on using iPads or iPhones as a reward. If I have kids I will never let them use iPads or iPhones until they are much more developed.
The smores bars look delicious! I think you did a great job on the pirate cake! Â What kind of cake was it? The green salad looks good, too! My kids are older. Â They only had screen time on computers. Â They had plenty of “real” play time, too.
