  1. Sorry to say but most of the items on this list are not healthy and the rest I never heard of, soooo..

    1. Oh, I agree, but it is fun seeing what is out there. There are some items I love the cocoa powder, cottage cheese, tahini, etc.

  2. hey y’all- great list! Donut Falls looks pretty amazing! Can’t wait to pre-order your cookbook!!

  3. To get rid of fruit flies I highly recommend a simple apple cider vinegar trap: in a glass, mix 5 tbsp of water with 1-2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and add a drop or two of detergent. The vinegar attracts the flies – and the detergent alters the surface tension of the vinegar solution. That way, the flies cannot leave the solution. Simply replace the solution every couple of days.
I place these traps near every fruit bowl or fruit storage I have this time of the year and it really helps to keep the problem in check. Pro tip: label the glass with some washi tape and a marker “fruit fly trap” to inform family members…
Good luck – and enjoy all those peaches! Our tree didn’t have a single fruit this year, it was too cold when the blossoms were out.
