Thank you so much!! I appreciate your support!
To get rid of fruit flies I highly recommend a simple apple cider vinegar trap: in a glass, mix 5 tbsp of water with 1-2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and add a drop or two of detergent. The vinegar attracts the flies – and the detergent alters the surface tension of the vinegar solution. That way, the flies cannot leave the solution. Simply replace the solution every couple of days.
I place these traps near every fruit bowl or fruit storage I have this time of the year and it really helps to keep the problem in check. Pro tip: label the glass with some washi tape and a marker “fruit fly trap” to inform family members…
Good luck – and enjoy all those peaches! Our tree didn’t have a single fruit this year, it was too cold when the blossoms were out.
Thank you!! Trying this ASAP!
Pretty picture of Donut Falls. I like the hat and coat too. I like all three colors. Have a great Labor Day weekend!
