hi
Hi, it looks like you’re having a wonderful time! I take my trees down around the middle of January. I love to make soup so I will be checking out your ham soup recipes. The boys look so cute in the pjs. Hugs,
Thanks! We love soup too!
I like finding healthier recipes, less sugar, less dairy. Always look forward to Thursdays and reading your This and That.
Thank you!
hey y’all- great list! Love the pics of the boys!! Yummy food! Glad y’all had a wonderful Christmas! Happy New Year!!
Happy New Year!
Hi,
You said you took your holiday decorations down the day after Christmas. Why would you want to do that in the middle of the holidays? The week between holidays is a special time . Families and friends are together, taking down the decorations says holidays over. The decorations just add to that wonderful feeling. January 2nd is soon enough to put away the magic.
Thank you, we enjoy your lovely site and tasty recipes!
That is our tradition. We put our Christmas up the day after Thanksgiving and take it down the day after Christmas. It doesn’t mean we still aren’t celebrating and enjoying time with loved ones.
Hi, Jill. Why would you want to dump on the way someone else does their Christmas decorations?
Just wanted to say hi and enjoy your new years.
Roxanne
Thank you! Happy New Year!
Thank you for sharing so many great recipes with us, Maria. I make one or two per week! I love that the ingredients are real food and mostly items I keep on hand in my frig and pantry. Your instructions are easy to follow with no fussy steps. I always have an extra copy of your cookbook on hand to give as a gift. I just received two copies of the Cookie book and will enjoy sharing them with my baking friends. All best to you and Josh for continued success. -jan PS I love how your boys are great brothers to each other!
You are welcome! Thanks for being here.
Would love to see an occasional gluten-free baking recipe. Also blackberries. We tend to have a lot of them in our garden in summer and I’m always eager to try out new ways to use them in recipes.
We leave our christmas tree and decorations up at least until Jan 6th, which is epiphany day and is celebrated over here. But we only decorate and put the tree up a few days before christmas.
Have a wonderful time with your family, thank you for all the inspiring work you do and a very happy new year!
Thanks! Happy New Year!
