  • Did you make any resolutions for 2024? I am still pondering my goals for this year. I am easing into the year, slowly but surely:)
  • I finished Black Cake on Hulu. It was so good. I added it to my list of favorite TV shows.

  • My favorite free workouts on YouTube.
  • Cute pj set and zip up!
  • A few recipes I meal prepped this week: one, two, three, four, five! I love having these on hand!

  1. Hi. I’ve subscribed to your emails since Caleb was a baby and I especially like reading This and That and seeing pictures of the boys. But you now have so many ads all over your page and taking up so much space at the bottom that it’s really distracting and hard to read. I understand that bloggers need advertisers, but please don’t forget about your readers. Please find a way to satisfy your advertisers without hiding your content behind this excessive advertising.

    1. Thank you for reading for so many years. I appreciate your feedback, I will let our ad manager know!

  2. I eat one of those bars everyday too! Sometimes more than one! No one seems to know about them and they are so good!

  3. Love your recipes! Thankful for your willingness to share them. I love your Cookies cookbook l got for Christmas.
Re: cute pj set, made in China so a no for me.
Re: The cute zip up , yes cute but the company gets terrible reviews so wouldn’t bother. Also not told where it’s made

  4. Hi Maria, I’m in hibernation mode too. Fun indoor activities for me include:
    – sorting through (and dusting…) my book shelves, donating what I know I won’t read again
    – I got into knitting – I’m making a cardigan right now and it’s making me so happy and calm
    – and I really enjoy planning my garden for the upcoming season, ordering seeds, drawing up plans for the beds etc.

Because of “wintering” I generally don’t do resolutions or big goal setting at the beginning of a calendar year. It has never really worked for me this time of the year and tends to set me up for failure and disappointment… I do much better with intentions and trying to figure out how I want to feel this year. Gives me more flexibility to adjust when necessary over the course of the year. It’s just the way my brain works.

Hi Josh – no pineapple for me please 😀 and have all the fun skiing!
