  • Another week of skiing! It’s getting harder to take photos and video the boys because they are so good. I am trying to keep up.
  • The Super Bowl is on Sunday. Who are you cheering for? Here are 5 good game day recipes: one, two, three, four, five.
  • I wasn’t watching the Grammy’s, but Maria called me in for this song with Tracy Chapman. It was awesome.
  • Pullover. I could add a Dumb and Dumber reference, but I will refrain, ha.

    I just want to say that although I delete most of my emails without reading them, I do look forward to yours. I have tried several of your recipes with great results. When I was 42 I was working on a cruise ship. One of the best times of my life. Take time to smell the, um, cinnamon. <3 Happy birthday.

  4. Hi Maria~was going to make your strawberry scones but wanted to do some without the strawberries! so started looking through the other scone recipes and they all seem a little different. Which one is the best for just plain scones? I looked but maybe overlooked one for just plain scones!

    1. I don’t have a plain scone recipe, I always add mix ins! You can make the strawberry scones without strawberries if you want!

We live in the Midwest Illinois area with our very spoiled with love rescue fur kid going on eight yrs. We enjoy traveling and exploring nature.
