PRETZEL BITES

Pretzel bites are fun to make and fun to eat!

you'll need:

• Water • Light Brown Sugar • Active Dry Yeast • Unsalted Butter • Kosher Salt • All-purpose Flour • Vegetable Oil • Baking Soda • Whole Egg • Coarse Sea Salt

Combine ingredients for the dough and mix. Add salt and flour and mix. Remove the dough, place on a flat surface and knead into a ball.

Oil a bowl, add the dough and turn to coat. Cover with a clean towel or plastic wrap and place in a warm spot until the dough doubles in size.

Boil water and add baking soda. Remove dough and place on a flat surface. Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope. Cut the dough into pretzel bites.

Boil in the water solution in batches. Remove and place pretzel bites on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with egg wash and season with salt.

Place into the oven and bake. Remove to a baking rack and let rest. Serve with cheese sauce.
