pear brie flatbread recipe

I am so excited to be sharing this Pear Brie Flatbread recipe. It is actually a recipe from our cookbook, but it’s just too good not to share on the blog too!

FYI, our cookbook has 100 recipes that aren’t on the blog and 15 favorites from the blog. If you don’t have a copy, you need one, order here!

Ok, back to the flatbread. This is the PERFECT party appetizer. It is EASY, but feels fancy. I make it all of the time and it is always a hit! Our friends and family love it and request it often, especially for the holidays.

The melty brie with pears, rosemary, and honey will WOW you! All of the flavors work so well together, trust me!

And if you aren’t having a party, it makes a great lunch or light dinner too! I would eat this flatbread any day!

Pear Brie Flatbread Ingredients

  • Flatbread– I use store bought naan flatbread, but pita bread works well too.
  • Olive oil– for lightly brushing the flatbread.
  • Briethe BEST cheese! I cut off the rind and slice it.
  • Pears– you can use your favorite pears, any variety will work! Thinly slice them!
  • Rosemary– a little fresh rosemary adds something special. Don’t skip it!
  • Honey– a drizzle of honey to sweeten things up!

How to Make Pear Brie Flatbread

  • Preheat the oven so it’s ready to go!
  • Place the flatbread on a large baking sheet. If they don’t fit on one, you can use two baking sheets. Brush lightly with olive oil. Top evenly with brie, sliced pears, and rosemary.
  • Place in the oven and bake until cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and drizzle the flatbreads with honey. Season with a little salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Cut into pieces and enjoy every single bite! I guarantee you will come back for another piece:)

My son was skeptical of this when I told him it was what we were having for dinner. But after trying a bite, he was hooked! Thank you for an easy recipe that my entire family loved.
