  1. I love Eating in the Middle, it was my favorite purchase of this year and I really want Ina’s new book. How cute is it that she wrote a book about feeding her man. I can’t wait to get it!

  2. I don’t have Dorie’s Cookies but after seeing it on both your list and Jessica’s list, it belonged in my Amazon cart where I just put it! Thanks for sharing it may have been your fave book of the YEAR!

  3. I haven’t got any of these cookbooks, unusual for me as i have hundreds! But they sound great so you have given me some ideas for gifts!

  4. I cooked from several of these this year (I tend to check them out from the library). Shout outs to Small Victories (the Merguez sausages were outstanding and easy) and Cravings (I loved both the Basil Chicken and Drunken Noodles recipes). I also enjoyed Simple, by Diana Henry. So many interesting flavor combos.

  5. Thank you for the fantastic recommendations. I had a GC for B&N, so I purchased Cookies & Cups and The Dude Diet. I figured DH wouldn’t be too upset for adding to the cookbooks if I added a guy book to cook for him with. 😉

  6. This is a fantastic list! I have Love and Lemons, Dorie’s and Ina’s cookbooks on my wishlist. I recently bought A New Way to Dinner and I love it! You should check it out. 🙂

  7. This is such a great list Maria!  I just ordered Dude’s Diet for that dude in my life, and cannot wait for him to cook for me!
