  1. I thought I recognized the pretzel bites from last year’s list (and the year before)!

Crazy that with all the cookies on your site, avocado mac n cheese takes the cake for the top slot! Fun to see what was the most popular!

  2. Wow that’s funny how many avocado recipes are on that list! And red velvet….yum! Hope you have a wonderful New Year – can’t wait to see what you have in store for 2013 πŸ™‚

  3. Seems like if you could find a way to combine red velvet with avocado… then you got a winning dish….LOL!!!! Just noticing the COMMON INGREDIENTS that made the top 10 list…

  4. My favorites from this list are the avocado mac n’ cheese and creamy avocado pasta! I seriously lost track of how many times I made the creamy avocado pasta.

I need to try your pretzel bites in 2013.

And… my other all-time favorites from your blog:
    – Black Bean and Sweet Potato Soup (March 2010)
    – Peaches n’ Cream Muffins (August 2010)
    – Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal (January 2011)
    – Zucchini Coconut Bread (August 2012)

  5. These look like fabulous recipes. My tip for creating a great menu is to use strong flavors. Party guests are only getting small bites of appetizers, so dazzle them with unique and interesting flavors, but keep the samples small so you do not overpower your guests. Experiment with different cheeses, spices and cooking techniques. Pinterest is full of ideas for how to find powerful flavor combinations and how to create a menu for a holiday party. β€œHealthy Purim Recipes,” for example, provides recipes for Purim celebrations.

  6. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful recipes with us. I especially enjoy the healthy ones and have tried quite a few of them.

  7. The guacamole cheese sandwich looks so yummy! Thanks to your post, I’m going to see if I can write up my own recipe for something similar. Thanks a lot for the inspiration!

Oh and as a side, the soft pretzels sound great too!

  8. Thanks for all the work you both do to keep this site buzzing…I’m sure its not easy with the “little man” around. I would love to see recipes that can feed a crowd. Of course keep your amazing cookie creations coming…my 3 teenage boys definitely love taste testing those ! Happy New Year…good health and peace to all…

  9. Love your blog! Thanks for the great recipes.

How about kid friendly lunch ideas? Breakfast and dinner are fairly easy, but I’m always stumped on what to make for lunch. I think it’s the hardest meal of the day. Maybe it’s just me.

  10. I made just about every one of your top ten recipes – except the smoothie and the stove top mac and cheese. Those red velvet cheesecake cookies were absolutely phenomenal and anything with avocado is good in my opinion. And I think you cover all the bases really well, from breakfast to dinner to sweets. Love your site and your recipes!

  11. Ooh these all look so good, I’m going to make the grill cheese right now, so simple and healthy and delicious looking!
