Honey Mustard Sauce Ingredients

You only need 5 ingredients to whip up this sauce and I bet you have all of them in your kitchen right now!

  • Dijon mustard– use the “fancy” mustard, not regular yellow mustard.
  • Greek yogurt or mayonnaise– Honey mustard sauce is traditionally made with mayonnaise, but I like to make it with plain Greek yogurt. Both work great, use whatever you prefer. You could even do half and half!
  • Honey– to sweeten the sauce!
  • White vinegar– to add a little tang!
  • Cayenne pepper and paprika– these are optional. Add a little cayenne if you want a little heat and add a little paprika if you want a pop of color and a little extra sweetness.
