Pin ItSalad dressings are easy to make at home and so much better than store bought. A few of my favorites include creamy cilantro lime dressing, Caesar dressing, and basil vinaigrette.
I also love this Jalapeño Ranch dressing. It only takes 10 minutes to make and the flavors are SO good. The dressing is creamy, tangy, and fresh. It is flavored with garlic, lime, cilantro, dill, and of course jalapeño.
The dressing isn’t spicy, but has a little kick! If you are nervous about the dressing being too spicy, you can always use less jalapeño…and if you want it spicy, add more!
I love this jalapeño ranch because it is very versatile. It’s creamy, but not super thick, so you can drizzle it over salads, tacos, enchiladas, nachos, roasted vegetables. It is also a great for sweet potato fries, taquitos, quesadillas and more. The options are endless!
This Jalapeño Ranch will make anything taste better, I promise. It is a staple at our house.

Ingredients
- Greek yogurt– use plain Greek yogurt or sour cream. I like to use Greek yogurt because I always have it in the fridge and I love the boost of protein.
- Cilantro– use the leaves, not the stems.
- Jalapeño pepper– remove the stem and seeds before using and don’t rub your eyes after touching a jalapeño pepper. You can wear gloves to be safe.
- Lime juice– use a citrus squeezer!
- Garlic– minced.
- Onion powder– I like to use onion powder instead of fresh onion in this dressing recipe.
- Dried dill– to give the dressing the ranch flavor! I use dried dill because I always have it in my spice cabinet.
How to Make Jalapeño Ranch
- Combine the Greek yogurt, cilantro, jalapeño pepper, lime juice, garlic, onion powder, dill, salt, and pepper in a blender or food processor.
- Blend until creamy and smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings, if necessary.
Recipe Tip
If you are nervous about the dressing being too spicy, start with a half of a jalapeño pepper. Blend and taste. Add the other half if desired. Every jalapeño is different in spiciness, so this is the safe way to go! When I make the ranch for my kids, I always use a half of a jalapeño pepper.

This is SO good. I used it with tacos.
Perfect for tacos.
I have not fixed this recipe of jalapeño ranch; but, I know it would be in my line of condiments; dips; sauces that would be in a line in or around me-my meal; each time meals rolled around ?!
I would-will fix this recipe in the future!?
